If you're a Web Development Manager with a desire to develop innovative, bespoke technology software for some of the world's biggest brands, you've come to the right place. We're looking for someone to join our expanding development team based in Wokingham, Berkshire.

Volume's Web Development Manager is instrumental in guiding, training and motivating our in-house team of UK-based C# developers. Leading the team of developers, you will architect, develop and implement technological solutions that anticipate client needs and integrate innovation, whilst managing multiple projects in accordance with Volume's high technology standards and processes.

This role will allow you to work within a vibrant and dynamic team that abides by best-practice processes and agile software-development methodologies. The team includes C# developers, UX developers and technology analysts, supported by a strong team of colleagues in Sri Lanka. You should be comfortable and have demonstrated experience of hands-on working within a fast-paced environment.

With previous experience and a strong, proven skillset in managing a development team working on medium to large-scale web applications, you should be the go-to person within the Technology team, with a firm understanding of industry-standard web-development applications. If you're savvy in technologies such as C#/ASP.net, SQL Server 2008, jQuery or other JavaScript library, AJAX and Visual Studio 2010, and you have excellent problem-solving skills, this role could be for you.

Product Owner / Business Analyst

The Product Owner / Business Analyst will take technical ownership of a number projects, both new and existing. They operate in an agile environment, with a great deal of variety between projects, which can range from simple mobile apps to comprehensive multifaceted web-applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that every project is technically sound and fit for purpose.
  • Working with customers to explore their needs and determine their underlying requirements.
  • Designing end-to-end solutions that can be implemented by the Development teams.
  • Devise creative solutions that meet the customer's requirements.
  • Overseeing solution development, communicating milestones to stakeholders and documenting changes.
  • Ensuring the solution meets the original specification and is fit for propose.

Essential Skills / Experience:

  • Knowledge of software development lifecycles and methodologies, including ASP.NET.
  • Understanding of web and mobile technologies and their application.
  • Experience of SCRUM (writing user stories) or Waterfall (writing a technical specification).

Here at Volume we are looking for a Senior Designer with knockout concepts and exceptional design ability. Working as part of our passionate Creative team, you will need to be an all-rounder who is full of creative energy, bursting with fabulous and original design ideas, and can create fresh solutions which exceed our clients’ expectations, working on projects from conception to completion. With an innovative approach, and the confidence to present finalised ideas to account managers and clients, you will need to be an expert in all things Adobe, including- InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. Cinema 4D, HTML and PowerPoint knowledge would be advantageous.

You should have at least five years’ experience within a creative team, with a portfolio to suit.
